In order for a foreigner to work legally in Poland, he or she must:
- reside legally on the territory of Poland, and the basis of residence must entitle him/her to perform work, e.g. a residence card,
- have a document permitting legal work,
- perform work under the terms of the permit or statement,
- sign an appropriate labor contract with the employer.
Documents admitting to the Polish labor market:
- statement on entrusting work to a foreigner - registered in the labor office by the employer,
- work permit - issued by the governor at the request of the employer.
